Market Overview

Company Background

Our History

In August 2007, Hansa acquired mining claims and leases in the Skillefte gold mining district of northern Sweden. In January 2010 Hansa sold it’s Swedish properties to Botnia Exploration Holding AB, a Swedish public company, for $1,000,000 cdn. and 237 million shares of Botnia which were ultimately converted into $ 2,900,000 cdn.

In April 2008, Hansa signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Angolans Petroleum Services S.A.R.L. to acquire 70% of the 9,685 square kilometre Mavolo-Tetelo-Bembe exploration permit in northern Angola. The permit included the historic Mavolo Copper Mine, and the Tetelo and Bembe copper deposits. Due to the 2008 world financial crisis financing was unavailable and the project was dropped.

In June 2012, Hansa acquired the Zhumba Gold Property in eastern Kazakhstan. The first five years consisted primarily with dealing with very difficult governmental issues and private local influential powers. Minimal exploration was achieved. Kazakhstan was determined to be too difficult a jurisdiction to continue operating in.

In August 2017, Hansa announced the sale of Zhumba to Kazzinc Limited, a subsidiary of Glencore plc, one of the worlds largest companies for the consideration of $600,000 US and a 1.9% net smelter return royalty from production at the Zhumba property.

Hansa has been granted a massive exploration licence ( 20,000 sq. KM that covers the entire coast if Ghana) but does have approximately $1 million cash CAD and a 1.9% Net Smelter Return on the Zhumba property.

We are currently raising 2 M CAD to pay for the offshore marine mining exploration program in in 2018-19.

Other Information

An Innovative Opportunity

Poseidon has been granted a unique reconnaissance license covering an approximate area of 20,000 km2 on the entire continental shelf of Ghana. Poseidon believes the target has the potential to contain a significant amount of gold, aggregate and economic heavy minerals.

The Objective

To identify prospective ground to support a novel gold and aggregate mining joint venture operating within 25-80 km of shore. The local crushed stone market has been assessed as worth approximately $610M/USD per annum. (www.researchgate.com)

Targeting Multiple Revenue Streams

Management is targeting an initial production of 100,000 ounces of gold per suction dredge and plans to increase to up to 5 dredges, producing up to 500,000 ounces of gold per annum*. Production zone targets will include heavy minerals containing magnetite, rutile, rare earth elements and, in selected areas, industrial diamonds. The JV will also be able to monetize the "waste" (aggregate) material.
