Glance, through it wholly owned subsidiary, Glance Pay Inc., owns and operates a streamlined payment system that revolutionizes how smartphone users choose where to shop, order goods and services, make payments, access digital receipts, redeem digital deals, earn rewards and interact with merchants.
Glance acquired blockchain and cryptocurrency in December 2017 and is working on a rewards-based cryptocurrency, the whitepaper for which can be found on the company’s website.

Glance offers targeted in-app marketing, geo-targeted digital coupons, customer feedback, in-merchant messaging and custom rewards programs. The Glance Pay mobile payment system consists of proprietary technology, which includes user apps available for free downloads in iOS (Apple) and Android formats, merchant manager apps, a large-scale technology hosting environment with sophisticated anti-fraud technology and lightning-fast payment processing. Glance has also recently purchased a blockchain solution and is working on a rewards-based cryptocurrency, the whitepaper for which can be found on the company’s website. Glance is developing a rewards-based cryptocurrency built on blockchain technology, called Glance Coin. The Whitepaper outlining the company’s plans for Glance Coin can be found online at glancecoin.io. This coming development will empower Glance-partnered merchants to reward, incentivize and provide deals to their customers with a rewards crypto-token through Glance’s platform. Desmond Griffin, CEO is Glance’s largest shareholder and has been a director since October 29, 2015. Before Glance, Mr. Griffin’s business achievements include co-founding Vancouver based PayByPhone (formerly Verrus Mobile Technologies) in 2000. As CEO of PayByPhone from inception until the business was sold, Mr. Griffin led the development of its mobile payment technology from a concept to a platform, processing tens of millions of mobile payments annually for millions of consumers around the world, making it one of the leading mobile payment apps in the market at the time. Mr. Griffin has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University (1996) and a Chartered Financial Analyst designation (2000).
Angela Griffin joined Glance in 2016 as CTO. Prior to that she assisted in the development of Glance’s technology as a consultant. Ms. Griffin’s business achievements before Glance include serving as Chief Technology Officer and lead programmer for View Assessments Inc. of Richmond, BC (“View”) from 2004 to 2010. She helped transform View from a paper and telephone-based organization to one that relies on proprietary software for gathering and dispensing personality assessment information used for hiring, promotion, team building and career development. Ms. Griffin’s has a Bachelor of Computer Science Degree from the University of British Columbia (2002).
Laura Burke serves as the CFO of Glance Technologies. Prior to her joining Glance, she was an auditor at KPMG, gaining a wealth of financial experience and engaging with publicly listed companies across multiple industries. Laura is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, Ireland) and holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.

Jonathan Hoyles is Glance’s Chief Commercial Officer & General Counsel. Prior to joining Glance, Jonathan was Vice President, Legal & General Counsel at the Skidmore Group. Prior to moving in-house, Jonathan practised law in the Capital Markets groups of two of Canada's leading international law firms. Jonathan has significant experience working on venture capital investments, public market financings and mergers and acquisitions. Jonathan has been admitted to the Bars of British Columbia and Alberta and holds a Juris Doctor from the University of New Brunswick and an MBA from Queen's University.

Lewisa Anciano serves as Glance’s Chief People & Culture Officer. Prior to joining Glance Technologies as Head of Human Resources, Lewisa led the human resources function as Vice-President, People at Coast Capital Savings, identified as having one of Canada's most admired corporate cultures. Recipient of the 2015 CPHR Human Resource Professional of the Year Award, Lewisa has enjoyed a multi-faceted career beyond HR with other award-winning organizations, in the areas of strategic planning, innovation management, corporate communications, organizational effectiveness, process transformations, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Lewisa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a Masters in Organizational Management.

Paola Ashton is VP Business and Client Development for Glance Technologies Inc. Paola has 16 years of client management and sales experience for start-up and digital media companies where she has overseen teams of up to 25 people, generating more than $15M per year in revenues. She previously served as a VP of Sales for Agency Media, VP of Sales at Blink Media Works, Director of Sales for Chalk Media & VP of David Chalk Inc. until it was purchased by Research In Motion (Blackberry).
