President and CEO
Shaun Heinrichs is a seasoned mining professional with over 25 years of experience, primarily in senior financial and operational leadership roles within the resource sector. He served as CFO and CEO of Veris Gold Corp., a precious metals producer listed in Canada and the US, from 2008 to 2015, guiding the company through a period spanning production growth and significant industry volatility. He went on to hold CFO roles at VMS Ventures Inc. (2015–2016), and Group Eleven Resources Corp. (2017–2022) both mineral exploration and development companies. Mr. Heinrichs began his career at Ernst & Young in Vancouver, managing assurance and advisory services for several U.S. and Canadian public companies, providing a strong foundation to support his operational leadership roles.
Mr. Heinrichs is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia and holds a business degree from Simon Fraser University.
