CareSpan is a healthcare technology and services company.  CareSpan, with its head office in British Columbia, is the parent company of the CareSpan group, which holds a 100% interest in its operating subsidiary, CareSpan Holdings, Inc., a Delaware incorporated company.  Its primary market and business operations are in the United States.

CareSpan’s mission to help clinicians improve health outcomes for patients through the use of digital technology.  In so doing, we aim to address the significant shortage in primary care and mental health.   Our proprietary ‘Clinic-in-the Cloud’ is an integrated digital care platform that seamlessly brings together remote patient monitoring, diagnostic tools, the patient’s electronic health record, care collaboration capabilities, patient engagement and e-prescribing and lab ordering. CareSpan’s platform seamlessly supports both in-person and virtual/telehealth care.  CareSpan focus is to use this platform combined with essential business services to enable provider networks of Nurse Practitioners across the U.S. that deliver primary and chronic care, and urgent care, as well as providers in behavioral health.

Rembert de Villa

CEO and Vice-Chairman

Rembert de Villa joined CareSpan Holdings as an investor and Member of the Board of Directors in December 2017. In August 2018, he joined the management team of the Company as CEO and has since led the formation and execution of CareSpan’s strategy of Integrated Digital Care. Prior to CareSpan, Rembert was Global Business Leader of EXL Healthcare (NASDAQ: EXLS), which focused on analytics and operations management offerings in the areas of care management, program integrity, and customer engagement. Before his tenure at EXL, Rembert had an outstanding career in global management consulting, holding senior leadership roles at Mastercard Advisors, Capgemini Ernst & Young, A.T. Kearney and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). He is Senior Adviser to the Philippines-American Chamber of Commerce in New York, where he served as Chairman of the Board for three years.

Rembert holds an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management, completed Columbia University’s Senior Executive Program, and attended the postgraduate program in Business Economics at the University of Bonn as a Konrad Adenauer Foundation scholar.
