Kiwetinohk’s mission is to build a profitable energy transition business which provides clean, reliable, dispatchable and affordable energy. The Company develops and produces liquids-rich natural gas and related products and is in the process of developing renewable and natural gas-fired power generation projects with a vision of also incorporating carbon capture technology and hydrogen production, all as part of a broader, integrated portfolio of clean energy assets that will support energy transition in the markets that it serves. The Company has a market capitalization of ~$550 million, ~27,500 boe / day of high netback liquids rich natural gas production, 7 power projects under development (~2,145 MW), 2 carbon storage hubs advancing forward and its common shares trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol “KEC”.

Pat Carlson


Pat Carlson is a well-known entrepreneur and business leader in the energy sector. He is currently the CEO and Director of Kiwetinohk. Pat Carlson graduated from the University of Calgary in Chemical Engineering in 1975.
Since 1998 Pat has founded and built five different, start-up energy companies. All were built to capture business opportunities associated with emerging technology applications. The previous four companies (includes Seven Generations Energy Ltd. and North American Oil Sands Corporation) all delivered strong investment returns for shareholders with over $1.1 Billion returned to the main financial sponsor ARC Financial Corp. at an average 5.0x multiple. Throughout his career, Pat has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and innovation in the energy sector and has established a reputation as a visionary and innovative leader. He is known for his hands-on approach and for challenging people to think differently about the industry.

Jakub Brogowski


Mr. Jakub Brogowski is Kiwetinohk’s Chief Financial Officer, a role he has held since the inception of the company in 2018. Previously, he worked as an advisor in the energy business with two global investment banks in both Calgary and London. His advisory work covered energy markets in Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia and included private/public equity, debt and hybrid capital raising, project finance, mergers & acquisitions, and strategy. Over this period, he completed over 50 advisory and financing transactions with a total value of ~$46 billion. In 2023, Jakub completed the Senior Executive Training Program at the London School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (with distinction).
