Lewis Lawrick
President & CEO
Lewis Lawrick is a seasoned Canadian mining executive with over 30 years of experience in mineral exploration, corporate finance, and strategic leadership within the natural resources sector. He currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Magna Terra Minerals Inc., a TSX Venture-listed gold exploration company focused on Eastern Canada. Under his leadership, the company has built a strong portfolio of precious metals and critical metals projects in Newfoundland and New Brunswick, as well as maintaining an extensive precious metals property portfolio in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina.
Mr. Lawrick is also the Managing Director of Thorsen-Fordyce Merchant Capital Inc., a Toronto-based private investment and merchant banking firm that provides advisory services and financing to emerging mineral exploration ventures.
Previously, Mr. Lawrick was the founder, President, and CEO of Signal Gold Inc. (now NexGold Inc.), where he was instrumental in consolidating exploration assets and guiding the company through its formative years. He has also held executive and director roles at numerous other companies including Volta Resources Inc., Franconia Minerals Corporation, NorthWest Copper Corp, and Normabec Mining Resources Inc.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and is known for his pragmatic leadership, entrepreneurial drive, and deep network within the mining and finance communities.
