Michael is considered one of the leading strategic investors in the junior mining sector, owning significant ownership stakes in over 25 small-cap mining companies.
He is currently a director of Radisson Mining Resources (RDS), Group Eleven Resources (ZNG), Roscan Gold (ROS), OnGold (ONAU) and Solstice Gold (SGC) as well as a Strategic Advisor to Northisle Copper and Gold (NCX).
Michael has also co-founded Bastion Asset Management in January 2022, a rapidly growing money management firm in Montreal with over $525MM in assets under management focused on small to mid cap equities in the USA and Canada. Michael was previously a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager with Formula Growth Limited where he worked from 2002 to 2018 where he co-managed one of the largest market neutral hedge funds in Canada with his partner Charles Haggar from 2012 to 2018.
