Shawn (Yuxiao) Ning

Shawn (Yuxiao) Ning is Vice President, Investments & Financing at Peakhill Capital. Shawn is primarily responsible for sourcing, reviewing, structuring and closing equity and mortgage opportunities that provide superior risk adjusted returns. Shawn has experience both on the debt and equity side in Canada and the US having closed over $3B in total transactions.
Prior to Peakhill Capital, Shawn held key roles from Trez Capital in Vancouver. Before that, he had experiences working at a high caliber Wall Street Private Equity shop and a Buldge-Bracket investment bank in New York. With a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from NYU Courant and Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from Cornell, Shawn is a strong advocate for higher education. He is a board member (past president) of Cornell Club Vancouver and a board member (co-founder) of Ivy League Club Vancouver.
