EV Nickel’s mission is to accelerate the transition to clean energy. It is a Canadian nickel exploration company, focussed on the Shaw Dome area, south of Timmins, Ontario. The Shaw Dome area is home to its Langmuir Project which includes W4, the basis of a 2010 historical estimate of 677K tonnes @ 1.00% Ni, ~15M lbs of Class 1 Nickel. EV Nickel plans to grow and advance a nickel business, targeting the growing demand for Class 1 Nickel, from the electric vehicle battery sector. EV Nickel has almost 9,100 hectares to explore across the Shaw Dome and has identified 30km of additional favourable strike length.

Sean Samson
President, CEO and Director
Mr. Samson is an executive with over 25 years of management and financial experience. Prior to becoming CEO of Rogue Resources in 2016, he was VP & Head of Corporate Development at FNI Mining for four years, including a period of six months as interim COO, responsible for a 250-person underground mine near Sudbury, Ontario. In 2012, he won the Canadian Young Mining Leader award from the CIM. Prior to FNI, he was VP Commercial Development at Kinross Gold Corporation for five years where he had multi-functional responsibilities including: supply chain, energy, merger integration, enterprise risk and capital approvals, leading a team of more than 300 people across eight countries. Before Kinross he was a consultant at Bain & Company and traded for investment banks in New York and Europe.
Sean received his AB from Harvard (US), an MBA from Cambridge (UK) and has completed his Mining Common Core (Ontario).
