Since the Chinese government’s announcement of the “Healthy China 2030” program in 2016, the country has prioritized the development of the life sciences and healthcare industry, making 2017 a record year for life science investments. With over 1.4 billion citizens, a growing middle class and an aging population with numerous pressing health care issues, much of the investments are flowing into pharmaceuticals, medical devices, senior care and online healthcare services.
The GCFF Shanghai Conference 2018 will be held at the Shanghai – Pudong Shangri-La, bringing life science industry players and institutional investors from throughout China, including the neighbouring Suzhou and Hangzhou life science hubs.
