With estimates of sleep apnea prevalence reaching over 1 billion people worldwide, the need for advances in prevention and treatment continues to drive the entire industry forward. Technology innovation has paved the way to address some of the top challenges with CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) therapy.

Positioned at the forefront of helping people with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) to live healthier lives, AR Medical Technologies has developed MaskFit AR. Powered by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, MaskFit AR is the next generation mobile app platform that overcomes a 40 year problem of inaccurate patient mask recommendations. Having the largest global database of CPAP Masks that’s integrated with a neural network of input from facial measurements, demographic data, clinical data and user satisfaction scores, patent pending machine learning algorithms are able to automatically provide a selection of best suited masks for individuals of any age, gender and ethnicity. MaskFit AR can be used in-person or for remote contactless mask fitting through a telemedicine portal in pandemic environments.

MaskFit AR also functions as a worldwide platform creating new standards of practice to improve clinical outcomes and inventory efficiencies while reducing wastage and increasing sales for institutional partners. First showcased at the World Sleep Congress in 2019, MaskFit AR received tremendous interest from numerous institutions worldwide. MaskFit AR is now poised to launch to the general public along with institutional agreements in the US, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, South America, United Kingdom, Spain and Asia.

Energized with a vision of being a global leader in digital mask fitting, AR Medical Technologies’ team of scientists, engineers, and software developers are also passionate about empowering institutions to be more effective healthcare providers while transforming healthcare outcomes for sleep apnea patients.
