UiPath (NYSE: PATH), a leader in robotic process automation, saw its shares surge more than 20% intraday on Tuesday after unveiling a series of strategic partnerships with AI giants Nvidia, OpenAI, Snowflake, and Google Cloud. The announcements, made during the company’s AI Summit, signal a major push into the emerging field of “agentic automation,” where AI agents can autonomously execute complex workflows.

The stock rallied sharply, up 14.9% by 9:50 a.m. ET, after climbing 2.9% the previous day. This represents the stock’s highest level in months, driven by investor optimism that these collaborations will accelerate the adoption of enterprise-grade AI automation solutions.

Deepening Technical Foundations with Nvidia

The partnership with Nvidia aims to integrate Nvidia’s NIM microservices and GPU-accelerated infrastructure to enhance the deployment efficiency of AI agents across hybrid cloud environments. A newly introduced Integration Service Connector will link UiPath’s automated workflows with Nvidia’s Nemotron generative AI models, targeting high-trust scenarios such as fraud detection and healthcare. Manuvir Das, Nvidia’s Vice President of Enterprise Computing, stated that the collaboration will “enable the next generation of intelligent automation.”

Setting a New Benchmark with OpenAI

The collaboration with OpenAI will focus on developing a ChatGPT connector to integrate OpenAI’s frontier models directly into the UiPath platform. This integration will enable users to build agents capable of understanding natural language, summarizing documents, and generating content. UiPath Chief Product Officer Graham Sheldon emphasized that the companies are “creating a benchmark for using computer-use models in agentic automation.”

Bridging Data and Automation with Snowflake

The alliance with Snowflake will connect UiPath’s Agentic Automation platform with the Snowflake Data Cloud, allowing automation workflows to be triggered by real-time data changes. This enhances both the responsiveness and precision of automated processes. UiPath CEO Rob Enslin commented that the integration “unlocks a new class of intelligent workflows.”

Expanding Multimodal AI with Google Cloud

Through the partnership with Google Cloud, UiPath will integrate Vertex AI and Gemini models into its automation suite. This enables customers to leverage Google’s advanced AI tooling for tasks including document processing, customer support, and data extraction. June Yang, Vice President at Google Cloud, noted that “UiPath is helping customers operationalize AI faster,” while also strengthening the platform’s cloud-native capabilities.

Market Outlook

Analysts suggest the four partnerships collectively strengthen UiPath’s competitive position across three key dimensions:

1.Technology Integration: Combining core AI capabilities to build a full-stack automation solution.

2.Ecosystem Expansion: Covering the entire technology stack, from infrastructure (Nvidia) and large language models (OpenAI, Google) to data platforms (Snowflake).

3.Application Scenarios: Opening broader commercialization paths across customer service, HR, and IT support.

As enterprises accelerate their AI strategies, UiPath’s latest move is expected to strengthen its position in the rapidly expanding automation market, estimated to be worth hundreds of billions of dollars. Investors, however, will be watching for quantifiable outcomes from these partnerships in upcoming quarterly earnings reports.
