Anderson has raised more than $45 million for Triumph Gold (formerly Northern Freegold). Prior to this, he worked in Investor Relations at Bema Gold and corporate Development at Manulife Financial in commercial real estate development.

He is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario and a graduate of McGill University.
