Jin Jiang International Group Sets Up Global Purchasing Platform

Chinese tourism giant Jin Jiang International (Group) Co. announced the establishment of a global purchasing platform, which is a one-stop hotel material purchasing platform built by the Group through integrating offline physical resources.

This platform will introduce Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data technology, providing services for the four hotel management companies Jin Jiang International Group owns. In addition, the Group had also previously set up a global hotel innovation center, the global financial sharing platform and WeHotel member service platform.

The global purchasing platform has more than 2,000 suppliers and will build reliable supply and demand platforms for 800,000 guest rooms in over 7,700 hotels under more than 30 brands in 60 or more countries worldwide, guaranteeing the material needs of more than 100 million members, the person in charge of the platform said.

Jin Jiang International Group is China’s largest comprehensive hotel tourism group, owning three A-share listed companies and a Hong Kong-listed company. The Group has also acquired 100 percent equity in the French Louvre Hotels Group SAS in 2015, and took controlling interests in China’s Plateno Group and Vienna Hotel Group Ltd. last year, thus forming its four major hotel brands.
