Tokyo’s Solasia Pharma reported China’s Center for Drug Evaluation has completed a review of the New Drug Approval filing for Sancuso ®, a granisetron transdermal patch used to treat nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy. The CDE accepted the filing and passed it on to the China National Drug Administration for approval. In 2008, Solasia in-licensed China rights to Sancuso, an extended-use product intended to be left in place for five days, from Strakan, a British company.
