DHL’s Chinese arm has refuted a media report that claims DHL’s Hong Kong unit has stopped providing service to China’s Huawei Technologies which is facing headwinds in the US.
DHL said that it will continue to provide high-quality international express delivery services for all customers, including Huawei, DHL-Sinotrans International Air Courier said in a statement.
Logistics platform 4PX Express posted a report on WeChat on May 22, alleging that DHL Hong Kong has cancelled Huawei’s shipments.
On May 15, the US added Huawei and its affiliates to a list of firms that need to apply for a special permit to buy technologies from American companies.
DHL-Sinotrans International Air Courier is a joint venture between Deutsche Post DHL Group and Sinotrans Air Transportation Development.
