Guangxi Bossco Environmental Protection Technology has received an order for complete sets of production equipment from Indonesian paper maker giant Asia Pulp & Paper, with a contractual value of USD22.8 million.
The environmental equipment supplier based in Nanning, the capital of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of Southwest China, said this in a statement yesterday.
Bossco penned a procurement contract with Hong Kong-based Fiber Papertech Engineering & Trading, a subsidiary of Asia Pulp & Paper that procures its equipment. The company will provide a complete process and main equipment for the preparation of sodium hydroxide with a daily capacity of 250 tons, as well as supplying related technical services, per the statement.
The firm will complete the equipment delivery, installation guidance and equipment process debugging within 16 months after receipt of the advance payment. The equipment will be delivered to Tanjung Bhulu Port in the country’s capital of Jakarta, according to the statement.
The overseas supply contract is Bossco’s first export order for sodium hydroxide complete equipment, which indicates that the company’s bleaching chemical preparation technology is capable of integration, provision of complete equipment supply and overall project construction, the statement added.
Formed in 1999, Bossco mostly serves China. It supplies waste gas treatment, water pollution management services, clean production technology and equipment, urban and rural environmental services, water supply and drainage integration projects and sewage treatment equipment.
It also offers environmental remediation of water and farmland, oily sludge treatment, mine and industrial site repair, solid waste disposal, domestic waste treatment, and disposal of sludge, and hazardous and industrial waste.
The company further conducts environmental impact assessments, inspections and testing, and offers design consulting and smart sanitation services. It exports its products and technologies to eastern Europe, Russia, members of the Association of Southeast Asia Nations and South America.
Sodium hydroxide is one of the most basic chemical raw materials in the chemical industry and is widely used, the statement noted, adding the delivery will lay a solid foundation for Bossco’s future expansion into overseas markets.
