China’s Dazhong Transportation Group will join hands with Japan’s Daiwa Motor Transportation to provide Chinese and Japanese tourists with transportation services in Tokyo and Shanghai.
Dazhong and Daiwa penned a cooperation agreement to offer travelers an easy online booking service regarding airport transport and charter vehicles abroad, Shanghai Observer reported. The pair strives to get the cross-border service up and running ahead of the busy season of Chinese New Year late next month.
Japanese travelers were the biggest group of foreign tourists in Shanghai with 9.4 million visitors last year. Meanwhile, 8.4 million Chinese tourists went to Japan, according to public data.
