Under the Cannabis Act, Health Canada has awarded a Research License to Nextleaf Solutions (OTCPK:OILFF) permitting it to conduct certain R&D activities, including stability studies on its nanoemulsified water-soluble THC and CBD formulations. It may also conduct human administration trials for sensory evaluation.
It received a Standard Processing License in September 2019.
Tivity Health inks deal with Walmart
Tivity Health (TVTY +0.1%) is now offering its Prime Fitness program to Walmart’s (WMT -0.2%) 1.5M associates and their dependents in the U.S. Members will have access to more than 9,000 fitness locations for a little as $9 per paycheck.
Tivity says it now offers Prime Fitness to 43M people between the ages of 18-64. Health clubs 24 Hour Fitness and Planet Fitness are national partners.

Moderna nabs funding to make vaccine against China coronavirus
The Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), a public-private coalition aimed at accelerating the development of vaccines, has agreed to fund the manufacture of Moderna’s (MRNA -1.8%) mRNA vaccine against the coronavirus causing the outbreak in China, named 2019-nCoV.
NIH’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Moderna’s collaborator on the design of the vaccine, will conduct IND-enabling studies as well as a Phase 1 clinical trial.
Pfizer to offer generic Viagra through digital health clinic
Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) subsidiary Greenstone inks a supply agreement with Roman, a digital healthcare clinic for men, to offer its authorized generic version of Viagra (sildenafil citrate) to Roman members.
The product will be manufactured in Europe in the same facilities that make branded Viagra.
