The 2025 TSX Venture 50 ranking is out, featuring six companies from the mining and energy sectors among the top 10 spots. TSX Venture 50 is a program that evaluates and highlights the past year’s 50 best-performing TSX Venture Exchange–listed companies, measuring their one-year share price growth, market capitalization increase and total Canadian trading value.

Ranking Methodology

This year’s ranking started with 1,605 companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) as of December 31, 2024, ultimately narrowing down to 354 that satisfied the following requirements:

From these 354 qualifying companies, rankings were calculated based on three equally weighted metrics:

  • Trading: Canadian consolidated trading value in 2024.
  • Market Capitalization: Changes in market capitalization during 2024.
