John Ing is the President and Chief Executive Officer of #MaisonPlacements Canada, an independent, Toronto-based investment dealer providing a comprehensive array of financial services to institutional investors and small to midsize corporate clients. Throughout his career of 50 years, Mr. Ing has been an advocate of #gold investment and authored numerous articles, appearing regularly in the media together with speeches around the world in support of his golden views. He was awarded the Robert Elvers Mineral Economics Award by the Canadian Institution of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum in 2014 in recognition of his tireless, tenacious, and influential work on gold economics and its relationship to fiat money. Mr. Ing has also served on numerous industry committees and served on the Toronto Stock Exchange Stock List Committee as its Chairman for twelve years from 1993 to 2007. He is a member of the CFA Society Toronto, the Toronto Mineral Analyst Group, the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Phi Kappa Pi, and the Cambridge Club.
