NVIDIA (NVDA) stock is currently sitting in a rare value zone. Its valuation has not been this attractive since 2019, presenting a stark contrast to its robust fundamentals. Although the stock has been a mainstay of the market over the past several years, its share price performance has been tepid since the start of 2026, with year-to-date gains largely tracking those of the S&P 500 Index. This seemingly lackluster market performance, however, obscures the reality of the company’s continuously soaring business, and also makes the stock one of the most noteworthy investment candidates on the market today.

Price-to-Earnings Ratio Returns to 2019 Levels, Far Below the AI Boom Period

In terms of historical price-to-earnings ratios, NVIDIA’s current trailing P/E stands at approximately 31 times, a level not seen since 2019. More critically, this valuation is already lower than at any point since the rise of the AI infrastructure buildout in 2023. Currently, Wall Street analysts generally expect the company’s revenue to grow by 82% in the current fiscal year and 42% in the next, and historical experience suggests that analysts’ forecasts tend to be conservative, with NVIDIA’s actual results highly likely to exceed expectations once again.

Significant Advantages in Lateral Comparisons, Growth Potential Far Exceeds That of Peers

When comparing NVIDIA with industry giants, its valuation advantage becomes even more pronounced. Apple (AAPL) and Alphabet (GOOGL) have P/E ratios of 40 times and 27 times, respectively, yet achieving 20% revenue growth for either is already no small feat, far short of the nearly 100% year-over-year growth NVIDIA is expected to reach in the second quarter. In the chip space, AMD (AMD) and Broadcom (AVGO) command even higher P/E ratios of 165 times and 63 times, but their growth rates trail NVIDIA. With a valuation significantly lower than many of its peers, while boasting growth potential that far outpaces its rivals, NVIDIA’s investment value has become distinctly apparent.

Stepping Up Advanced Packaging, $1.5 Billion Agreement Strengthens U.S. Supply Chain

In terms of business deployment, NVIDIA is continuing to deepen its control over the AI industrial chain. According to the latest statement, the company has signed a $1.5 billion agreement with Amkor Technology (AMKR) aimed at enhancing the latter’s chip packaging manufacturing capabilities in Arizona and advancing the development of the U.S. domestic semiconductor business. The agreement includes an upfront payment that will help Amkor expand its production capacity in the United States, with both parties focusing on chip packaging and testing technologies for the AI sector.

Packaging, as a critical link in semiconductor manufacturing, has currently become one of the supply bottlenecks for the entire industry. Through this collaboration, Amkor’s factory in Arizona will effectively complement its Asian production capacity, building a more geographically diverse and resilient global supply chain. As the world’s most valuable company, NVIDIA is leveraging its substantial resources to expand its AI footprint through a series of intensive agreement signings, addressing supply challenges in critical links such as advanced packaging to meet the explosive growth in market demand. The market’s current undervaluation may well present a rare opportunity for forward-looking investors.
