Vancouver, British Columbia–(Newsfile Corp. – July 15, 2021) – Tracesafe Inc.(CSE: TSF) (“TraceSafe”), a global leader in wearable safety tech and connected workforce solutions, including large-scale venue management and asset tracking, announced today that it will be the exclusive provider of wearable health and safety technology for the Calgary Stampede from July 9 – 18.
TraceSafe’s wearable technology, in the form of ultra-light battery-powered wristbands, will be used by all competition athletes, rodeo staff, and international travellers. Calgary Stampede officials worked in consultation with leading event professionals, the Alberta health authorities, and TraceSafe to develop a discreet technology solution that will allow the event to proceed safely.
“We’re excited to work with the Calgary Stampede Organization and Alberta health authorities again as they oversee a successful and safe Calgary Stampede this year,” said Susanne MacKillop, VP Sales at TraceSafe. “As the event organizers worked with their local health authorities it was clear adding TraceSafe’s wearable technology supported the additional measures required for this year’s event.”
This deployment follows TraceSafe’s successes in other popular event venues, like Boston’s TD Gardens and at the World Junior Hockey Championship earlier this year.
“Operating safely is the primary focus of Stampede, and we continue to work closely with key health partners to assure the safety of our competitors and our community. Utilizing TraceSafe products is just one of the many ways we are meeting and exceeding safety guidelines for Stampede 2022,” said Brett Warder, Manager of Agriculture & Western Events Operations at Calgary Stampede.
